An American Airlines flight blew two tires while landing at Chicago O’Hare on Monday.
According to the FAA, American Flight 386 was arriving from New York-LaGuardia around 2 p.m. local time when the crew reported two blown tires.
There were no injuries, and passengers deplaned via stairs and were bused to the terminal at O’Hare.
The aircraft involved, a Boeing 737-800, has been taken out of service.
“We thank our team members for their professionalism and we apologize to our customers for their experience,” the airline said in a statement.
The FAA said it is investigating the incident.
