5 Different Types Of Private Jets Built By Airbus Corporate Jets
Airbus
corporate jets and helicopters offer a unique and seamless experience connecting global travel. Airbus creates the luxurious flying experience evident in its models based on four key strands: ultimate comfort, intercontinental freedom, pioneering technology, and unbeatable economics.
The Aviation Giant has been offering a range of cabin concepts or the option to fully customize corporate jets to match customers’ needs since the 1990s. The ACJ team, with its extensive experience, provides peace of mind from concept development to cabin customization. Customizing private jet cabins enhances convenience, assignment efficiency, and work-life harmony.
Airbus offers continuous airworthiness management CAMO services for worldwide aircraft, focusing on safety and airworthiness management. These services include maintenance programs, engineering services, airworthiness records and reviews, monitoring, and recommendations to speed up decision-making.
Traveling on an ACJ does not require owning an aircraft. Private jet companies like Luna Jets and Tag Aviation offer ACJ charter services to customers globally. The Airbus ACJ is a family of executive airliners offering a lighter and more extensive range than its commercial counterpart.
At least 77 Airbus A319s are developed as private, representing the most available model. It is commonly available with an expansive layout split into four zones, which can vary greatly, making it popular for events or sports teams. Simple Flying has chosen five corporate jets built by Airbus

ACJ319
The VIP aircraft is the most common for long-range flying
The Airbus ACJ319 corporate jet began production in 1999 and continues to be manufactured with the Neo variant. As of July 2015, 18.6% of the Airbus ACJ319 market comprises pre-owned ones. The twin engines offer a Maximum Take-Off Weight
MTOW
of 168,650 pounds (76,498 kg). The aircraft can seat up to 50 passengers and can be customized to any configuration. It uses the same engine types as the A320 and has removable extra fuel tanks in the cargo compartment.
After removing the extra tanks and corporate cabin outfit, the A319 can be resold as a standard A319, maximizing its resale value.
Airbus corporate jets were the first to introduce fly-by-wire controls in business jets, and remain the only family to feature this standard in every aircraft in production today. The cockpits feature fly-by-wire controls and side-stick controllers for fingertip maneuverability. The ACJ319 can accommodate over 15 hours of non-stop flight for 8 passengers and is equipped with two CFM LEAP-1A or PW1127G1 engines, ensuring a seamless travel experience for its occupants.

The new Airbus ACJ319neo, featuring efficient PW1127G engines, improved cabin comfort, and increased fuel and baggage capacity, offers a range of 6,750 NM (7,766 mi, 12,501 km) with eight passengers and available fuel. On the other hand, the
Boeing
BBJ MAX 8 has a range of 6,690 NM (12,390 km or 7,699 mi), but has a higher variable operating cost of $1.44 (10.2%) compared to the neo.
The A319neo Is Airbus’ Least Popular Narrowbody
The Airbus A319neo has not gained popularity when compared to its brothers/cousins, the A320neo and A321neo. There is a huge demand for these lower-capacity narrowbody aircraft. The general use of lower capacity aircraft is to fly short-haul and regional flying, and to add service without suffering as much from the load factor economics of a larger jet. Similar models include the Embraer ‘E-Jet family’, Airbus’s own A220, and the Boeing 737 MAX 7.
There are also some aircraft in production/yet to be in production which are expected to be more fuel-efficient, low-capacity, short-haul aircraft. The A319neo has a much greater range at 3,700 nautical miles. This extra (and possibly unnecessary) range makes it costlier, and the lower capacity makes it less useful to airlines for medium haul routes.
It’s also worth mentioning that the price of the engine (CFM Leap-1A) is also much more than similar-sized aircraft.
Embraer have an advantage in operational capability, which is often why the

ACJ320
With a range of 6,000 nautical miles, it provides ample space for private suites
The Airbus ACJ319 and ACJ320 are corporate jets, with the ACJ320 being a longer version of the ACJ319. Both have updated engines, but the 320 has a shorter flying range, up to 6,000 NM (6,905 mi, 11,112 km). The VIP aircraft encloses a first-class cabin, while the A321 is the largest and tallest business jet with greater capacity and floor space. Both offer passengers space and comfort, making them the ideal choice.

Should The Airbus A340 Remain In Service Longer?
In August, I had the privilege of flying on the Airbus A340-600, and I enjoyed every second of the flight. However, I recently heard that Lufthansa plans to fully retire this marvelous aircraft by October 2025.
I understand that quadjets are less efficient compared to twinjets, but it is still hard to accept that such an incredible machine will soon no longer take to the skies. I’d love to see it remain in service a little longer, perhaps until 2033.
What do you all think? Should it stay in operation for a bit longer, or is it better to retire it as planned?
